Soon you will begin to receive invitations to complete the Census. It is imperative that you participate (and required by law) because the count determines how much federal funding is directed to the Baton Rouge area for public services (including education funding) and for natural disaster relief. Additionally, it determines how lines are drawn for congressional, state legislative, and school districts. The EBRFT office will be a Census hub so members and retirees that don’t have access to a computer, can stop by our office and complete their forms.
