Classrooms of Fear - Keith Bromery Interview

As a result of the "Discipline in Schools" survey that The Federation released to the media, the district has agreed to work with us to improve the safety at your workplace. 

We are in the process of forming a Discipline Advisory Committee. The goal of this committee is to create ideas on how we can work together with the district as it relates to student discipline and school safety. 

This volunteer committee will meet with the Superintendent and his staff specifically on matters pertaining to positive school climate and student discipline within our district.

(Baton Rouge - July 18, 2014) The political feud between Gov. Bobby Jindal and Superintendent of Education John White must be resolved quickly so that teachers and their students can get down to the work of education, Louisiana Federation of Teachers President Steve Monaghan said today.
